The Volkswagen up! is available as a three-door hatchback and a five-door hatchback and has been in production since 2011. The car is built on the Volkswagen Group NSF platform and offers both petrol and electric powertrains. The most powerful model is the e-up!, which produces 60 kW of power, the 1.0 MPI has a top speed of 171 km/h and the 1.0 CNG has the lowest fuel consumption of 2.9 kg/100 km and emissions of 79 g/km. The three-door hatchback has a boot capacity of 251 litres, while the five-door model has a capacity of 251 litres. In terms of safety, the car was rated 5 out of 5 by EURONCAP in 2011.
