The vehicle can be built in countries such as the Czech Republic, the People's Republic of China, and India and is based on the Volkswagen Group MQB A2 platform. The engine range includes both petrol and diesel engines, with the most powerful 2.0 TSI RS model producing 180 kW and reaching a top speed of 234 km/h.
